Several Hong Kong films have also been selected for this year’s official selection, with Johnnie TO’s latest film Election 2 participating in the Midnight Screenings category, & the Pang Brothers’ Re-cycle screening in the Un Certain Regard category.
Two HAF filmmakers will also be participating in Cannes this year. LOU Ye (HAF 2005 director) will be joining the Competition Category with Summer Palace, and SU Chao Pin (HAF 2006 director) will also be having an official Midnight Screening.
