The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will once again lead the Hong Kong Pavilion at the Village International for the Marché du Film 2007, the film market to be held concurrently with the Festival de Cannes (16-27 May).

The Hong Kong Pavilion will help your every business need at the Business Support Centre, which is available to Hong Kong citizens, staff of Hong Kong entertainment companies, accompanied overseas guests, and Hong Kong - Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF) filmmakers. The Marché du Film will see Hong Kong companies exhibiting their latest works from directors such as Ann HUI, Benny CHAN, Jacob CHEUNG and YAU Nai Hoi at Cannes in May. Please click on the following links for details.

One of the HAF 2007 Project The Good, the Bad and the Weird (directed by KIM Jee-woon) is now in production and private promo screenings will be held at Cannes this year
HAF filmmaker Yang Liang won two awards lately with his pervious work, The Other Half, included the Special Jury Award in Singapore International Film Festival and Woosuk Award in Jeonju Iinternational Film Festival

As Festival de Cannes celebrates its 60th Anniversary this year from 16- 27 May, the HKTDC is delighted to announce the Inauguration Ceremony of the 60th Festival de Cannes Anniversary Exhibition STARWAY, Allée de stars and Cocktail Reception for Hong Kong Films, scheduled to take place 18 May!
